Mini Splash Dash – A Classic and Modern Mini Event organised to make a splash…..
Welcome to the 4th Mini Splash Dash, this time held in Wales!
The’ Mini Splash Dash’ is brought to you by Cumbria Mini Cruisers, a tight knit growing classic and modern mini club that hosts a wide age range of members with a great selection of both standard and modified minis from all periods.
The Mini Splash Dash Run has been running now since 2007 & is unique and like no other mini run around. This event takes place each year on the May Bank Holiday weekend & is held in a different location somewhere around the UK. The aim of this event is to help local charities in the area where the event is held, whilst enjoying a relaxing, fun filled mini weekend.
We welcome both Classic & Modern mini enthusiasts to this brilliant event. Our Mini Splash Dash event allows you to enjoy a full weekend of relaxation, a chance to get to know other mini owners and have a few drinks around friends. Not only this but the event has now gathered up a selection of activities which takes place over the cause of the weekend, some of these activities range from; Mini Treasure Hunt, Scavenger Hunt, Quiz, Charity Raffle or Auction, Mini Competitions, Trips to Car Museum, Auto Test & not to forget the annual Mini Splash Dash run which proves too many people that ‘Minis and Water DO MIX!’
The Welsh Mini Splash Dash run offers mini owners panoramic views, fresh country air, outstanding scenery, small villages with local shops but not just that you can see amazing wildlife along the way and not to forget the enjoyable water splashes that he have along our brilliant planned out routes.
Upon arrival to the campsite you will need to pay for your camping fees, you will then be asked to pay a £10 refundable deposit to obtain a security swipe card to open the gate into the Tent Area. (You cannot enter the camping field unless you have paid & obtained a key). Once you enter the camping area please stop at the event shelter to register & collect your rally plaque. Please make sure that you have your ticket pack to hand. Checks will be made regularly to make sure all entrants have paid camping fees & abiding by the campsite rules.
Our event shelter is open to everyone, not only for the briefings & registration times but in case of rain it is a place for entrants to meet & relax in. Activities times ECT will be noted in your ticket packs, or can be found here on our website. Please make use of the wide open space, play with the large garden games or join in with a game of rounder’s or bring along your bike to explore the local cycle routes & more..............
